Cruise Control  —  Profile

Cruise Control performs classic and recent hit songs across all genres of music, from Country to Swing, Jazz to Rock ’n’ Roll and love to incorporate their popular segment of Maori and Pacific Island music.  The group is proud to feature International Television and Recording Star, Toni Williams, whose best known successes included "Rose Can I Share a Bed with You" and "You're the One I Sing My Love Songs To" and both of these numbers achieved GOLD status.  Toni is well-known for his role as Sportin’ Life in Porgy and Bess, and of course as a member of the famous Howard Morrison Quartet.  Toni's lovely daughter Tamara also features in the line-up, and she brings a special brand of charm and fun to the group.  Anchor-man Larry McKay boasts an immense amount of experience in bands, and he has worked the length and breadth of the country in Clubs and Nitespots, as well as on Television.  Larry was the rhythm guitarist for Johhny Campbell and The Detours in the halcyon days of the early-mid 60s.  He is joined by his long-time musical partner in crime, the amazing Peter Gillette, who has an impressive record of successes in the music business.  Peter is now teaching school children to play keyboard under his banner "The Peter Gillette School of Music."  This group is simply sensational !
