Anthony Easterbrook-Carter  —  Profile

Anthony Easterbrook-Carter is a 42-year old painter and decorator from Christchurch.  He has been pursuing his career in the entertainment business for over 21 years, during which time he has worked with some of New Zealand's leading artists, including singing with Suzanne Prentice, Frankie Stevens and the legendary Tony Williams.  A highlight was performing before George McArdle (Bass Guitarist in The Little River Band) at a church event.  Anthony performed with "Peter Sowden’s About Time" Showband at ROCKONZ 2009, and went on to spend three years with "About Time" presenting the very successful "Rockin Is Our Business’ spectacular.  Anthony preformed at Flaxwood Festival 2014 as a feature of the Johnny Campbell and The Detours line-up, Anthony's amazingly versatile voice brought a new dimension to the Detours' repertoire featuring songs from Foreigner, The Traveling Wilburys, Roy Orbison, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Doobie Brothers, The Shadows, The Beatles, Rober Palmer and many other well-known artists of the 60s, 70s and 80s rock eras.
